Spring & Summer 2017 Comparisons - China Glaze Too Much of a Good Fling & All Glammed Up (Spring Fling & Summer Reign)

Now, Glammed Up is a tiny bit brighter and greener, but yeah they’re super close. You absolutely do not need both. Mint Candy Apple is too light, Fashion Playground has less blue in it and has silver shimmer, Flowers in her Hair is also too green, Shelly is too muted, Liesl is too blue, and Splish Splash and Vintage are much too dark. Alyssa and For Audrey though are in the same boat, the latter making sense as I think it’s being phased out in favor of these two. It is notably darker though. Alyssa is the closest to either, but it’s bluer.

Spring 2017 Comarisons - China Glaze Moment in the Sunset (Spring Fling)

Summer is way orange and Tinsley is A) a foil B) darker and C) more gold. Girly is too light to really compare. Although I originally thought Moment in the Sunset and Oh Behave were dead on dupes, Moment is much more pink while Oh Behave is peachy. Oldie but goodie Lily is a similar shade of pink but it has green shimmer running through it instead of gold. Bikini is likewise a similar shade of pink but lacking the gold as well.

There’s a lot of green in It’s A-Boat Time that nothing else here has. I’d Melt for You is very much a true silver without any green. Fort Worth It is the closest in spirit, but it has a pink flash instead of green. It’s the pink version of A-Boat Time. Spun Sugar, Monique, and Bourbon are similarly warm but less green. Centennial Celebration is also very warm but it’s actually a silver and gold foil instead of a metallic.

A couple I want to highlight:

Tia is one of the most similar in style, but the base is lighter and dustier, and the shimmer is more fine.

Morgan is the closest thing I have to a crème version of Sherbet Lips, it’s just a tiny bit darker.

Strawberry Fields and Adeline are similar in base color but have way more shimmer – if you were disappointed in how little the shimmer in Sherbet Lips shows up, check out one of these two!

Alexis Ruby Empress is kind of the red version of Sherbet lips – they’re close in idea just Alexis is red and has silver shimmer.

Watermelon Rind is a glass fleck, it’s a similar color, but not finish. Likewise I’ll Take Manhattan is a chrome and has a lot of silver and is still a little lighter. Teal the Cows has less green, Paulina and Emerald Empowered are darker. Rule Breaker is more green, Selene and Giovanna are brighter, and Trophy wife has less blue in it. Beauty & the Beach is by far the closest. It’s a bit more blue, but you don’t need both.
