Autumn 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Presley & Joni (Sophisticates) - Part 1

Note: I don’t have Zoya’s Jana but I’d imagine it’s close to Presley.
Slide 1:

From left to right: Jill, Cathy (both from Naturel 3, Spring 2013), Shari (Friendsgiving, November 2014), The Look of Love (Bed of Roses, Spring 2017), High Society (Rebel Debutante, Spring 2010), Presley & Joni, Lay Lady Lay (Bed of Roses, Spring 2017), Uptown Girl (Rebel Debutante, Spring 2017), Mary (Naturel 3, Spring 2017),
I really thought Presley and Joni were a bit closer. It’s kind of hard to see but Shari is the lightest thing in this lineup. The two Naturel 3’s on the left are too light (closer to McKenna or Beth without the shimmer), and Mary on the far right is too brown. The Look of Love & High Society are Presley’s closest relatives I have here, The Look of Love is the most pink, High Society is the most brown, and Presley is the most purple. Joni’s closest relatives here are Lay Lady Lay and Uptown Girl, they’re all very, very close. Funny how those three collections (Zoya’s Sophisticates, Lippmann’s Bed of Roses, and Color Club’s Rebel Debutante) all have the same two shades in them!

Spring 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Mary, Gina, and Debbie (Naturel 3)

From left to right: Madeline (Naturel Deux, Autumn 2014), Odette (Naturel, Spring 2014), Lay Lady Lay (Bed of Roses, Spring 2017), Normani (Naturel, Spring 2014), Mary, Gina, Desiree (Focus, Autumn 2015), Emilia (Naturel Deux, Autumn 2014), Debbie, Marnie (Naturel Deux, Autumn 2014), Let’s Stay Together (Originally from Recipe for Love mini set, Holiday 2014, here a Nordstrom Exclusive, Spring 2015).

All these Naturels make a nice little shade rainbow and the new Naturel 3’s fill in a couple of the gaps. Truth be told, you don’t need all of the new Naturels if you have a lot of the old ones, unless you’re a collector.

Spring 2017 Comparisons - Deborah Lippmann The Look of Love & Lay Lady Lay (Bed of Roses)

From left to right: Dress Me Up (Colours from the Capitol/Hunger Games, Spring 2012), The Look of Love, Brigitte (Naturel, Spring 2014), Earth Angel (Painted Desert Sephora Exclusive, Summer 2015), Madeline (Naturel Deux, Autumn 2014), Odette (Naturel, Spring 2014), Lay Lady Lay, Uptown Girl (Rebel Debutante, Spring 2010), Let’s Stay Together (Originally from Recipe for Love mini set, Holiday 2014, here a Nordstrom Exclusive, Spring 2015). Bottom, Pink Chocolate (Classics)

The Look of Love is close to Dress Me Up and Brigitte. It’s in between them in terms of pinkness. Earth Angel is also pretty close, but it has a gold shimmer running through it. Lay Lady Lay is a little darker than Odette and a little lighter than Uptown Girl and Let’s Stay Together.
