Autumn 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Presley & Joni (Sophisticates) - Part 1

Note: I don’t have Zoya’s Jana but I’d imagine it’s close to Presley.
Slide 1:

From left to right: Jill, Cathy (both from Naturel 3, Spring 2013), Shari (Friendsgiving, November 2014), The Look of Love (Bed of Roses, Spring 2017), High Society (Rebel Debutante, Spring 2010), Presley & Joni, Lay Lady Lay (Bed of Roses, Spring 2017), Uptown Girl (Rebel Debutante, Spring 2017), Mary (Naturel 3, Spring 2017),
I really thought Presley and Joni were a bit closer. It’s kind of hard to see but Shari is the lightest thing in this lineup. The two Naturel 3’s on the left are too light (closer to McKenna or Beth without the shimmer), and Mary on the far right is too brown. The Look of Love & High Society are Presley’s closest relatives I have here, The Look of Love is the most pink, High Society is the most brown, and Presley is the most purple. Joni’s closest relatives here are Lay Lady Lay and Uptown Girl, they’re all very, very close. Funny how those three collections (Zoya’s Sophisticates, Lippmann’s Bed of Roses, and Color Club’s Rebel Debutante) all have the same two shades in them!

Spring 2017 Comparisons: Zoya Jill (Natuel 3)

From left to right: Shari (Friendsgiving, November 2014), Gracie (QVC Julep Spring Neutrals, May 2016), Rue (Naturel, Spring 2014), Piper (Classics), Jill, The Look of Love (Bed of Roses, Spring 2017), Dress Me Up (Colours from the Capitol/Hunger Games, Spring 2012), Brigitte (Naturel, Spring 2014), Zanna (Blissful, Spring 2008), Coming Up Roses (Bed of Roses, Spring 2017), I Feel Pretty (Nordstrom Exclusive, Holiday 2016). Swatch Stick: China Glaze My Lodge or Yours (The Great Outdoors, Autumn 2015)

Jill is surprisingly close to The Look of Love – it’s just a little more brown toned. My Lodge or Yours, Dress Me Up, and Brigitte are also pretty close.

Spring 2017 Comparisons - Deborah Lippmann A Trail of Petals and Coming Up Roses

From left to right: Fresh Prince-ss (Rebel, Autumn 2016), Phyllis (Chrysalis, January 2015), You’ve Got a Friend (I’ve Gotta Be Me, Holiday 2014), Rue (Naturel, Spring 2014), Jill (Naturel 3, Spring 2017), Avril (Suede, Summer 2004), A Trail of Petals, Piper (Classics), Dress Me Up (Colours from the Capitol/Hunger Games, Spring 2012), Ever After (Her Majesty, Holiday 2016), Coming Up Roses, Zanna (Blissful, Spring 2008), I Feel Pretty (Nordstrom Exclusive, Holiday 2016). Swatch stick: China Glaze My Lodge or Yours (The Great Outdoors, Autumn 2015)

A Trail of Petals is really close to Avril and Piper, it’s a little pinker than Avril and a little lighter than Piper, but they’re all really close. Coming Up Roses isn’t exactly the same as this holiday’s Ever After – it’s more vibrant. Ever After, Coming Up Roses and the new Nordstrom Exclusive I Feel Pretty would make a nice ombre manicure!
