Autumn 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Beth (Sophisticates) - Part 1

I was surprised how close Beth was to To Have & To Gold. Beth is a little less foily and a little less bronze but they’re closer than I would have thought. Ainsley seems to have been made with a similar idea in mind but the colors are different; the base is lighter and the shimmer more gold. It’s not a true metallic like Magical or Sweet Carmel Sunday, Goldie But Goodie is way too gold, and Glimmer is a whole other thing entirely.

Nothing quite has the same style of shimmer of McKenna. Steph is whiter, Time for Me Time and Lauren are pinker, Frosting and Celeste are yellower, Take a Right on Bourbon and Voyeuristic Adventure are more cool toned, Wilma is more duochromey, and Fast Track and Katrina are too glitzy. The two closest things are Front Page and Kay, the latter of which is close enough you don’t need McKenna. Front Page is a similar color but it’s a full on metallic. Kay is just a little darker and the shimmer is a bit different.

McKenna seems like the long lost fourth Touch polish, of which I only have Shay. Shay is noticeably peachier, but I imagine Minka from the same set would be pretty close. Erin’s of the same family but the shimmer is different. The three on the left are too light and Girly is too sparkly.

I don’t have anything exactly like Glamcore – Sloane, Let’s Groove, and Yasmeen are redder, and Sexy Plunge, Thess, and Belinda are cooler.

Baroque Jungle is a lot like an old fave of mine British Racing Green, almost dead on in fact although Baroque Jungle is more teal. It’s less metallic than a lot of the other polishes here, which makes it pretty unique.

Actually, RPitA is way darker than anything I have here. Looks like everything close I have to it is a China Glaze.

Yeah, If you’ve been a long time collector of red China Glaze Metallics, you already have Royal Pain in the Ascot. RPitA has the best name though, if that’s a selling factor.
