Holiday 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Landon (Party Girls) - Part 2

From left to right: I Manicure for Beads (New Orleans, Spring 2016), Hello Hawaii Ya (Hawaii, Spring 2015), All Aboard (All Aboard, Autumn 2014), Shade On (Lounge Lover, Spring 2016), Mira (Summertime, Summer 2011), Sylvia (Garden Party, August 2013), Grape Pop (Up & Away, Spring 2010), Mix and Mingle (Cheers! Holiday 2015), Landon, Tara (Urban Grunge, Autumn 2016), Monica (Designer, Autumn 2012), A Grape Affair (Coca Cola, Summer 2014), Crown Velvet (Her Majesty, Holiday 2016)

Now, my tastes for the most part err towards cooler toned purples like Mora or Mix and Mingle, so the only thing here that comes close is Tara, which is darker and more berry toned. I Manicure for Beads way over on the left is too bright and everything else is too cool.

Autumn 2017 Comparisons - Deborah Lippmann Purple Haze (Star Power)

From left to right: All Aboard (All Aboard, Autumn 2014), Grape Pop (Up & Away, Spring 2010), Plum Sugar (Sugar High, Spring 2015), Katya (Dark and Stormy Nights, October 2016), Monica (Designer, Autumn 2012), Charmed, I’m Sure (Autumn Nights, Autumn 2013), Purple Haze, A Grape Affair (Coca Cola, Summer 2014), Lidia (Focus, Autumn 2015), Queen B (Autumn Nights, Autumn 2013), Crown Velvet (Her Majesty, Holiday 2016), Karina (Neon Nights, July 2017)

Purple Haze is close enough to Plum Sugar, Katya, Monica, Charmed I’m Sure, and A Grape Affair that you wouldn’t need to pick it up. All Aboard and Grape Pop are too light, Lidia’s too red, and Queen B, Crown Velvet, and Karina are too blue.

Spring 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Tina (Charming)

From left to right: Audrina (Gossip, Summer 2008), Violet-Vibes (Electric Nights, Summer 2015), Drunk in Love (Color Fever, Summer 2014), I Manicure for Beads (New Orleans, Spring 2016), Odette (Naturel, Spring 2014), Spontaneous (Flirt, Spring 2005), London (Afterglow, February 2015), Tina, Violet (Mystery Minis, Summer 2015), Afternoon Delight (Afternoon Delight Sephora Exclusive, Spring 2016), Mira (Summertime, Summer 2011), All Aboard (All Aboard, Autumn 2014), Sylvia (Garden Party, August 2013), Grape Pop (Up & Away, Spring 2010)

The stuff on the left is too warm and the stuff on the right is too cool and/or dark. Odette is a dustier version of Tina, but it’s actually a pretty similar hue. Spontaneous is a pinch darker, but it’s pretty close. London’s probably the closest thing I have but it’s closer to Odette than Tina as it’s a lot dustier, but it lacks some of the brown tone in Odette. If you mixed Tina and Odette though you’d probably have something closer to Violet, but Violet still leans closer to Odette. Lastly, Afternoon Delight is much lighter. Nothing quite matches Tina’s tone or vibrancy!

Holiday 2016 Comparisons - Deborah Lippmann Crown Velvet (Her Majesty)

From left to right: Drunk in Love (Color Fever website exclusive, Summer 2014), All Aboard (All Aboard, Autumn 2014), Grape Pop (Up & Away, Spring 2010), Mix and Mingle (Cheers!, Holiday 2015), Do You Have this Color in Stock-holm? (Nordic, Autumn 2014), Crown Velvet, Monica (Designer, Autumn 2012), O Suzi Mio (Venice, Autumn 2015), Katya (Dark & Stormy Nights, October 2016), Plum Sugar (Sugar High, Spring 2015)

Drunk in Love is the closest thing I have within Lippmann’s line, but it’s infinitely lighter, redder, and brighter. All Aboard is lighter and dustier. Grape Pop, Mix and Mingle, and Stock-holm are all lighter, but all share Crown Velvet’s blue tone. Monica, O Suzi Mio, and Katya are more red toned. In hindsight, I probably should have put Plum Sugar next to Crown Velvet, because they’re pretty close, but Plum Sugar is also redder.
