Julep Lineup - Nayley, Octavia, Pacita, Pam

  • Nayley (Bombshell - Pop, March 2015) is a pale peach creme. Not my fave thing but a good creme if you like this color.
  • Octavia (CWAT - Dramatic, February 2014) is a beautiful dark blue-purple creme. Such a beautiful and unique shade!
  • Pacita (Wonder Maven - Future Fresh, January 2017) is a brown/green duochrome sheer topper. What a pretty color that’s even pretty on its own!
  • Pam (It Girl - Endless Summer, August 2016) is an orange holographic. This might be my only orange holo!

Holiday 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Danielle (Party Girls) - Part 2

From left to right: Matilda (Midsummer Light, June 2016), Avenue Maintain (Madison Ave-Hue, Spring 2013), Super Trop-i-cal-i-fiji-istic (Fiji, Spring 2017), Sia (Focus, Autumn 2015), Indie (In the Mix, Autumn 2015), Danielle, I Know What Boys Like (Summer 2011), Sailor (Cashmeres, Autumn 2013), Natty (Designer, Autumn 2012), Mirajane (Ultrabrites, Summer 2016), Octavia (Dramatic, February 2014), Arielle (New York Never Sleeps, October 2015)

Danielle is quite close to my rather sorry-looking bottle of Indie, it’s just a bit lighter, and I Know What Boys Like, it’s just a bit brighter.

Holiday 2017 Comparisons - OPI Holidazed Over You (Love OPI XOXO) - Part 2

From left to right: Natty (Designer, Autumn 2012), Sailor (Cashmeres, Autumn 2013), Blue Blood (Her Majesty, Holiday 2016), Holidazed Over You, Strangers in the Night (Dressed to the Nines, Holiday 2015), Octavia (Dramatic, February 2014), Mona (Boudoir, January 2014)

I’m usually not into blues this dark so I don’t have anything like Holidazed. Strangers in the Night comes closest but they’re not dupes.

Autumn 2017 Comparisons - Zoya Hadley (Sophisticates) - Part 1

From left to right: Catch of the Day (Shimmer Brights, Summer 2016), Sia (Focus, Autumn 2015), Song (Diva, Autumn 2012), Gladys (Dark and Stormy Nights, October 2016), Indie (In the Mix, Autumn 2015), Natty (Designer, Autumn 2012), Sailor (Cashmeres, Autumn 2013), Hadley, Blue Blood (Her Majesty, Holiday 2016), Strangers in the Night (Dressed to the Nines, Holiday 2015), Octavia (Dramatic, February 2014), Arielle (New York Never Sleeps, October 2015), Russian Navy (Russia, Autumn 2007)
Hadley’s closest relatives are the other two Zoyas, Natty and Sailor. The flash close up shows their differences well, Sailor is the darkest and Hadley is the grayest, but you don’t need all three. Blue Blood and Strangers in the Night also look close without the flash, but again Hadley is grayer.

Autumn 2017 Comparisons - Orly Blue Suede (Velvet Dream)

From left to right: Too Busy Being Awesome (My Little Pony, Summer 2017), Super-trop-i-cal-i-fiji-istic (Fiji, Spring 2017), Blagger (Spring 2011), Blue Suede, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes (After Midnight, Autumn 2016), Natty (Designer, Autumn 2012), Blue Blood (Her Majesty, Holiday 2016), Strangers in the Night (Dressed to the Nines, Holiday 2015), Arielle (New York Never Sleeps, October 2015), Octavia (Dramatic, February 2014), I Know What Boys Like (Summer 2011), Sia (Focus, Autumn 2015), Born to Rule (Street Chic, Autumn 2017)

That jolt of brightness in Blue Suede makes it incredibly unique. The closest I have is Blagger; Blue Suede is like a mix of Blagger and Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.

Holiday 2016 Comparisons: Deborah Lippmann Blue Blood (Her Majesty)

Note: If I ever get After Midnight, they might be close.

From left to right: Blagger (Spring/Summer 2011), Catch of the Day (Aim to Misbehave/Shimmer Brights, Summer 2016), Natty (Designer, Autumn 2012), Sailor (Cashmeres, Autumn 2013), Blue Blood, Octavia (Dramatic, February 2014), Strangers in the Night (Dressed to the Nines, Holiday 2015)

Blagger and Catch of the Day are brighter, plus Catch of the Day has a subtle shimmer. Natty is dustier. The last three are much closer to Blue Blood. Sailor is less vibrant, Octavia is more purple, and Strangers in the Night is darker, but none of these are that visible to the untrained eye.
